...though, as I'm writing this and looking out of the studio window it looks like grey clouds are looming. But isn't that always the way? However you look at it, I always find that the inclement days are the ones that give quilters like you and I the perfect excuse to head back into a project sitting waiting to be turned into something a little more complete.
This month being half way through the year is where I find some inspiration and ideas to keep myself busy, from little hand sewing projects to larger items such as quilts. All of which are great at showing off embroidery skills or using up your fabric stash.
I think the possibilities are endless with so much to choose from and there's almost an excuse to look a few months ahead as we move into autumn. And there is our opportunity to plan ahead for the last six months of 2021 and dare I say the "C" word.
Go check out our Christmas in July Specials as some of these items won't be back in our stock selection!
It's always a little bittersweet when halloween is over and things return to normal (if you can call these times, normal?), so what do you do once the pumpkins & scary things have been packed away for next year?
This week, we're basking in the cosiness of Christmas, enjoying the glow of fairy lights, spending time putting bundles of fabric together tied up with some extra love.
PS. We're tempted to keep those twinkling lights up all year round as a reminder of the good times!
