Time saving tip of the day
Use a magnet to stick a piece of paper to the fridge and write items you need as you run out of them.
Encourage whoever finishes something to add it to the list. That way you don’t waste time racking your brains about what you need as you wander round the supermarket (and inevitably have to go back for the thing that you forgot).

Add your Personal Touch to Machine Embroidery, Irene Fackler
Irene's book uses the best of embroidery and decorative motifs that can be applied to clothes and household accessories allowing the user to be more creative.
The book explains very clearly how to decorate and personalise items by bringing modern technology with traditional handwork. It brings endless possibilities of patterns to be used as decoration for sewn textiles.
All the techniques and working processes are thoroughly explained giving the end user more confidence in colour and thread use; paying close attention to thread and its quality with this type of embroidery.
Enclosed in the book is also full size Pattern Sheets. All in all a great addition to the sewing library of Textile Embellishment.
